Capital Improvements
FY 2010/2011 (begins June 1, 2010) Capital Improvement Projects
1. Century Park Shoreline Stabilization - work continues on combating shoreline erosion in Big and Little Bear Lakes.
2. Century Park North End Improvements - Plans for the north end of Century Park include a restroom building/warming house, numerous amenities including walking paths, and shoreline improvements. A public hearing allowing residents to comment on the proposed project was held in the Spring of 2009. Click here for the site plan.
3. Family Aquatic Center Maintenance - New shade structure, VGB improvements, mechanical upgrades, and a new spray feature.
4. Park Maintenance Facility - New service drive
5. Playground Replacement - Westwood Park, Sullivan Community Center, Kiddie Korral Park
6. Grosse Pointe Park - Bleacher covers
7. Sullivan Community Center - Fitness equipment replacement, furniture and fixture interior remodeling
Completion of all projects is based on the Park District receiving income from all designated sources. |
