Every month, September through May, the Park District delivers Park Pointers newsletters to schools in Hawthorn School District 73 and Diamond Lake School District 76.

Current News and Highlights

On September 11, 2007-2011 children from Hawthorn School District 73 planted daffodil bulbs for the Park District's "Fields of Gold" honoring the lives lost in the 9/11/01 attacks on our country.

In April, the daffodils bloomed blanketing the "fields" with beautiful spring flowers.
