Parks Index
In addition to the acres
of lush, green parks the Park District provides, it also has several
facilities where many of our programs and events take place.
The Larry Laschen Community Center, formerly
the Village Hall, is located at 294 Evergreen Drive. The offices are home to five Park
District personnel as well as various Park District programs. In addition,
there are meeting rooms available for rent.
While the Park District
expands its space, the heart of the Park District continues to reside in the
Dolores C. Sullivan Community Center at 635
Aspen Drive. Within the 1.5 acre building is our fitness center,
gymnasium, aerobics and cardiovascular rooms, and preschool. The Sullivan Center also has a large Community Room which available to rent.
One of our most popular
facilities is our Family Aquatic Center, located
directly across from the Sullivan Center on Aspen Drive. The Aquatic Center
opens the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend and closes Labor Day.
Deerpath Center and
Hartmann Pavilion are two additional
facilities where recreation programs are held.
