Birthday Parties

The following birthday parties are available from Mid-September through Mid-May. Summer birthday parties are held at the Family Aquatic Center. Click here for summer birthday party information.

Host a birthday party your child will talk about for years....with the Vernon Hills Park District Party Planners! Our staff will take the party planning pressures off of you. You pick a theme and invite the guests, and we'll take care of the rest. With two party package options, your child's birthday is sure to be a memorable one. Parties are limited by the availability of the facility and staff. We recommend booking at least 3 weeks in advance.

Party Themes:

Under the Sea for 3-5 year olds: This ocean adventure will include parachute play in addition to party games!

Games Galore for 3-10 year olds: Specially tailored to each age group; includes traditional and carnival-type games and activities. A favorite for all ages!

Dinosaurs-Rrroarrr! for 3-10 year olds: Let your imagination soar and walk with the dinosaurs. There will be lots of rompin' and stompin'!

Party Safari for 3-10 year olds: The birthday child will be the King of the Jungle and all are sure to enjoy the adventures!

Princess Party for 3-10 year olds: Royal attendants will search for the slipper, crown the princess and enjoy tons of fun!

Yoga Party for 4-10 year olds: This party is for those children who want something different than the traditional party. Registered Yoga Teacher, Mary Scudella, will lead the group through 60 minutes worth of different poses and stretches based on your choice of a list of themes. The remaining 30 minutes are devoted to refreshments and parent lead activities. Cost is $15 per child for the first 10 children and $20 each additional child with a maximum of 20 children.

Sports Parties for 6-10 year olds are held at the Sullivan Community Center. These are booked upon the availability of the facility. Contact Kelly Cushion at 847-996-6805 with questions or to book your party.
