The Island Tree Removal project will commence in Century Park on November 15th. The park entry drive at 1001 Lakeview Parkway and the boat dock parking lot will be closed for the duration of the project. All pine trees on the island will be removed because they are in a state of decline due to age and diseases that attack stressed Austrian Pines. There is no feasible treatment for the trees. The remainder of the trees on the island will be pruned. The project in expected to take 3 weeks to complete, however weather may affect the timeline of the project.
