SNOW REMOVAL
Due to the anticipated snow projected for this weekend (1/18-1/20), the following park parking lots will be closed Saturday to Tuesday: Century Park parking lot along railroad tracks, Lake Charles Park, Hawthorn Mellody Park, Deerpath Park at Warrrington and Cherokee streets, and Grosse Pointe Park. In addition, many walking paths throughout our District will be impacted until Tuesday. We appreciate your patience during this time and anticipate having all school walking routes, paths, and parking lots cleared by Tuesday morning.

ICE RINK UPDATE
Parks staff are scheduled to install ice rink liners Monday morning and start to fill the rinks with water. We ask that patrons stay off the ice until the rink signs indicate they are open. Disturbing the ice before allowing it to freeze thoroughly will delay opening the ice rinks for all users.  We anticipate opening the ice rinks by Friday 1/25/19 if weather permits, possibly sooner.
