Vernon Hills Park District worked with Trane/Ingersoll Rand to receive grant funding through the Illinois Shine Program and Illinois Power Agency for solar development on its Park Maintenance Facility rooftop.   The application process is complete and site logistics are being developed.  The goal is to generate power to offset electrical costs for the Parks Maintenance Facility.  For information, please contact James Kim at 847-996-6817.
