August 1 Public Meeting for Grosse Pointe Park Improvements

Vernon Hills Park District cordially invites the public to attend a Public Information Meeting regarding proposed Park improvements at Grosse Pointe Park. The purpose of the meeting is to seek public input and comments on the proposed preliminary concept plan. The Park District is seeking an Open Space Land Acquisition and Development grant which is funded from Illinois Department of Natural Resources for these improvements. The meeting will be held in an open house format at Grosse Pointe Park, 900 Grosse Pointe Boulevard, Vernon Hills, IL 60061 from 5:30 – 630 pm on August 1, 2019. The concept plan will be on display for viewing and representatives from the Park District will be available for discussion and to answer questions. Written comments may be completed at the meeting or emailed in until August 9, 2019. Inquiries may be directed to Mr. James Kim, Superintendent of Parks, (847) 996-6817 jamesk@vhparkdistrict.org. This meeting will be accessible to persons with a disability in compliance with current Accessibility Standards prepared by the Capital Development Board.
