Due to the weather forecast for this weekend, the parks department is planning to close the parking lots listed below.  The parking lots will be plowed by Monday afternoon. Plowing  efforts will have priority at the Sullivan Community Center, Lakeview Fitness, Century Park Pavilion, and Hartman Pavilion/SRACLC. Depending on precipitation conditions, clearing all park paths may take considerably longer than usual.

Parking lot closures:

• Century Park
  • Century Park South parking lot – Hawthorn and Lakeview Parkways
  • Cricket pitch entrance – parking lot off of Lakeview Parkway along the railroad tracks
• Deerpath Park
  • Cherokee and Onwentsia Road entrance – tennis/pickle ball courts and Kids’ Castle lot
• Grosse Pointe Park – both lots
• Hawthorn Mellody Park
• Lake Charles Park

The following parking lots will be kept open as best as possible:

• Deerpath Park – Warrington Drive entrance
• Century Park – Boat Dock entrance
