A gentle reminder to Vernon Hills residents that during this shelter-in-place order, all playgrounds, ball fields, and athletic courts are closed and the use of the play equipment is prohibited.  While walking and biking on our park paths is encouraged, it is also important to be sure we are still practicing  social distancing to help keep all members of our community safe. Large gatherings of any kind are prohibited. We need your help during this difficult time. We are in this together and everyone needs to do their part by complying with the Governor’s order. The Park District, Vernon Hills Police, and with your help too, can work together to ensure these practices are followed.  On behalf of the Board of Park Commissioners please take this seriously! Do your part to flatten the curve and save lives!
