Skate Park Opens May 22 with Restrictions

The new Skate Park located in the Sullivan Community Center/Family Aquatic Center parking lot area is opening Friday, May 22 with restrictions. Due to social distancing guidelines, only ten Vernon Hills Park District residents will be allowed to use the Skate Park during a one-hour time slot. The Skate Park will be monitored by Park District staff and the Vernon Hills Police Department. A reservation is required to reserve a time slot to skate at the park.
For Skate Park Reservations:
Participants must be a Vernon Hills resident. ID’s will be checked at the entrance.
Skate Park reservations are one hour in duration.
One reservation per person / per day is allowed.
Reservation confirmation and ID must be presented to gain access to the Skate Park.
Your reservation is forfeited if you are not checked in within 15 minutes.
Face coverings are required.
Reservation Times:
Friday 2:30 pm, 3:30 pm, 4:30 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:30 pm
Saturday 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm
Sunday 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm
Users will need to click on the RESERVATIONS tab and choose “Skate Park” as the Facility Type to secure their reservation.
