The District contracted Graf Tree Care’s Natural Resources Management division to conduct a prescribed burn in the central section of the Oak Savanna in Sullivan Woods on November 18. The  weather forecast and ground conditions are right for the burn to occur this Wednesday. Their team along with 4 Park District staff will be onsite at 9 AM to start the burn and will end the burn around 3 PM. The total acres scheduled to be burned is between 4-5 acres.
