Persons are not required to wear masks outdoors when visiting District parks and outdoor facilities. This pertains to children enrolled in summer camps, outdoor program participants, Family Aquatic Center visitors, and all District staff. Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) supports that masks are not required for outdoor play, but states when “huddled” together for long periods of time with less than 6 feet distance, masking up is strongly recommended.
