With winter around the corner, it’s time once again for the  Green Oaks, Libertyville, Mundelein, Vernon Hills (GLMV) Coat Drive for Veterans.

Join the Park District in collecting slightly worn or new winter coats and other seasonal outerwear (hats, gloves, scarves, etc.), which will be provided to our local veterans and their families in need. All sizes and styles are welcome. The drive is being conducted through the GLMV Chamber of Commerce, GLMV Villages, businesses, municipalities, and Midwest Veterans Closet, a not-for-profit charity that provides free clothing and other items to our former soldiers.

Donations will be accepted at the Sullivan Community Center and Lakeview Fitness through November 20.
