Vernon Hills Youth Sports Affiliates

The Vernon Hills Park District has several community sports affiliates that serve as partners to offer a comprehensive youth sports program in our community. Please note: the youth sports affiliates are independent agencies that are neither an agent for nor under the direction of the Vernon Hills Park District.

Vernon Hills Soccer Club

The Vernon Hills Soccer Club offers youth soccer leagues for boys and girls, ages 4-18, at both recreational and competitive (travel) levels. The club offers Vernon Hills area youngsters best in class teaching and coaching that develops players to realized potential and fosters a lifelong love of the game. Vernon Hills Stingers Softball

The Vernon Hills Stingers is a community based travel softball organization for girls, ages 9-18. They teach the fundamentals of softball and strive to win with pride, lose with style, and to always give their all. For information, email VH-Stingers@comcast.net.

Vernon Hills Community Baseball & Softball

The VHCBS offers community baseball and softball programs starting with a T-ball program for ages 4-5 and goes up to ages 14 for boys baseball and age 17 for girls softball. We also offer travel baseball starting at age 8 through age 14. Our Community Baseball and Softball programs run from April through early July. Our travel baseball programs starts winter workouts in January and season play concludes in July. Vernon Hills Sports Club

The Vernon Hills Sports Club offers travel youth programs for grades 1-8. The goal is to provide teamwork, fundamentals and development. All registration is done at vhcougars.org. Football
We have exciting changes for football in Vernon Hills. Tackle football has joined with LBC in Libertyville. Register now at vhsportsclub.org. Flag football registration will open the first week of June. Contact Peter Lamberti at football@vhsportsclub.org with questions.

Boys and Girls Lacrosse
Registration opens in February for boys and girls spring lacrosse. Practices are held twice a week. Contact Vince Tran at lacrosse@vhsportsclub.org with questions.

Boys and Girls Basketball
The mission of the Vernon Hills Feeder Basketball organization is to provide an opportunity for boys and girls that will attend Vernon Hills High School to participate in an organized competitive basketball program. Registration can be found at vhcougars.org and tryouts will take place in October. For more information, Contact Stacie Brettner at basketball@vhsportsclub.org.
