Online! Hot Shots Sports Baseball 101

Hot Shots Sports Baseball 101 is offered online as a Zoom program. This class gives players, 7-11 years old, an introduction to baseball through drills to enhance technique and form. Children will learn throwing mechanics, batting stance, bat positioning, fielding, and positioning for fly balls. Physical endurance and fitness will also be emphasized. Equipment needed: Baseball Glove, 1-5 Baseballs, 1-5 Softer balls (socks rolled up would work!), Tee (or waist high surface, be creative to find something to mimic a tee), Bat (rolled up magazine or longer wrapping paper tube), 4-6 Place Markers, Flat base (can cut one out of cardboard!)
Class meets Tuesdays, June 2-June 23 from 4:00-4:30 pm.
Fee: $36
Register through the Park District link above and Hot Shots Sports will share the Zoom link with the class participants. Due to safety concerns with Zoom, Hot Shots Sports have a dedicated administrator for each zoom session to ensure safety in the class.
