Little Bear Ribfest Information

Century Park 1001 Lakeview Parkway, Vernon Hills. The park is located 3 miles west of I-94 and just north of Route 60/Townline Road. Smoking is not permitted on park grounds.
Admission Fee $5 per person ( 5 years & younger are free). Tickets are available for purchase at the event gate on August 16 and 17. Additional fees are charged for food & beverage. Alcoholic beverage tickets can be purchased with cash or credit/debit cards until 10:30 pm each evening. A wristband is required before purchasing tickets.
Seating There will be picnic tables in the park, however, you are welcome to bring in a lawn chair or blanket.
Parking Free parking is available at the Hawthorn Mall, 122 Hawthorn Center, Vernon Hills. Please do not park in business parking lots adjacent to the event site. Police will be towing illegally parked vehicles. There will be limited parking available at the south corner of Lakeview Parkway and Hawthorn Parkway.
Handicapped Parking or Drop-off There is a limited number of parking spots located in the southbound lanes on Lakeview Parkway. Please let a traffic attendant know that you need access to the handicapped parking area.
FAQ’s
Q. Is there an ATM on site? There will not be an ATM on park grounds, but there is an ATM directly across the street at Vernon Hills Bank & Trust. Credit/debit cards are accepted at the main entrance, beer ticket booth, and at some food vendors.
Q. Can I bring in a cooler or outside food? Coolers and outside food are not permitted at Ribfest. However, we do make an exception for food and beverage for young children.
Q. Can I bring my dog to Ribfest? Only approved service animals will be allowed into the park during Ribfest.
Q. Does the park close if it rains? Ribfest will remain open if it rains, but will close temporarily during periods of lightning. Ribfest works with the local emergency management weather team to monitor the weather. If the event does need to close temporarily due to lightning, all guests will be asked to leave the park at that time. When the lightning is safely past the park, Ribfest will reopen.
