Due to heavy use of the sled hill for exercise this past spring and summer, the Parks Department has closed the sled hill for approximately 4 weeks to conduct turf restoration work. The restoration work includes aerating, top dressing, seeding, fertilizing and watering the hill to ensure there is a healthy turf going into the winter months and for sledding season.
