We are getting ready for our Grand Opening on July 20!  A quick press on a bollard and the sprayground is in full action!

Three colorful slides plus spray features including a butterfly, turtle, spray globes and a trio of balls are almost ready for summer fun! Numerous tall spray features will keep the kids cool as they play at the sprayground. Fencing is installed around the perimeter of the sprayground and a shade sail flag is installed.

The front entry to Turtle Creek Waterpark has been renovated with a spacious lobby area and freshly painted locker rooms. The newly painted turtle shell path leads you from the locker rooms to the sprayground! Sarah is beginning to paint the Turtle Creek Waterpark logo on an interior interior wall of the waterpark. The sprayground equipment has arrived on site and is beginning to be constructed with all of it’s colorful features. The pumphouse has doors.

The equipment shed is being built and wow is it big! It is going to house the pumps, piping, and water supply that will make the sprayground a wonderful place to play. Our talented muralist, Sarah, has finished the majority of the murals and is working on the turtle shell path. The path will lead visitors from the locker rooms to the sprayground.

The concrete pad is poured and the size of the sprayground is visible! The three bridges in the waterpark are being painted with new safety netting installed. The front entry is being renovated with a spacious customer service area, newly painted exterior facia, and interior paint throughout the locker rooms. Artist, Sarah Radliff, continues to paint a creek inspired mural at the entry of Turtle Creek Waterpark. New, colorful, dump buckets will cool off visitors in the lazy river!

The entirety of the pad is formed and solidified with rebar. The concrete pillars you see in the sprayground currently are the footings for the structures that will be installed. All of the underground plumbing is nearly complete. The electric has been hooked up to the main service and construction is moving. The next step is to pour the pad, that will be the layout of the sprayground. With the spring grasses beginning to grow, the creek running through Turtle Creek Waterpark is very visible.

All structure foundations are in and the framing for the sprayground pad is being constructed.  We are excited to see the sprayground continue its progress.

The forms are being set for the sprayground perimeter.  All stone and drainage has been set. The project is moving along nicely.

March 11, 2024

The sprayground construction continues to move at a good pace. The foundation has been poured, the storm sewer installed, and the valve vaults are ready for concrete.

March 1, 2024

Excavation of the structures has been completed and framing is in progress for the foundations. While the building is being installed, the contractor is working on installing the storm sewer system.

Construction began at the Turtle Creek Waterpark Sprayground.  Sod is being removed around the boundaries where the sprayground will be installed.
