The current drought conditions has caused the turf in District parks to go dormant.  The extremely dry conditions is a hazard for open flames. For the safety of park visitors, outdoor grilling is temporarily prohibited in District parks until further notice. As a reminder, the District has a No Smoking Ordinance which states that smoking is prohibited on all District property.
