Community Meeting

The Park and Recreational Facility Construction Act (PARC) provides grants to eligible local governments for park and recreation unit construction projects and land acquisition. The PARC Grant is offered through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR). The Vernon Hills Park District is submitting an application for a PARC Grant for funding of Lakeview Fitness improvements. The community is invited to the Sullivan Community Center on Thursday, December 19 from 5:30 pm – 7 pm in Meeting Room C.  Architectural renderings of proposed improvements will be on display for the public to view. The District values your feedback on the future improvements to Lakeview Fitness.
