As part of the District’s scheduled playground replacement plan, the 1993 Iron Mountain Forge playground at Stone Fence Farm Park will be replaced with a new Landscape Structures playground. This playground will include a large composite structure with multiple slides and climbers, new swings and a zip line.  A section of the playground equipment in Augusta Park will also be replaced this fall. The small red 1999 Gametime structure for the 2-5 year olds will be replaced with a new Little Tykes composite structure with much more play value.   Additionally, the 1980’s vintage belt swings will be replaced. Demolition began October 7 and will continue through next week. Installation at both parks will be completed by the end of the month, weather depending.
