The Vernon Hills Park District is partnering with Cradles to Crayons for their Gear Up for Winter Collection Drive to collect new and like new children’s essential items! Please bring all donations to the Cradles to Crayons box located in Lakeview Fitness and the Sullivan Community Center lobbies. Cradles to Crayons is a nonprofit organization that provides children living in low-income and homeless situations with the essential items they need to thrive—at home, at school and at play. Most needed items (New or Gently Used):

• Winter Coats and Warm Clothing (sizes newborn to adult medium)
• Winter Boots (sizes infant/toddler 5 to adult 10)
• Infant Toys and Toys for 7-12 Year Olds
• Baby Board Books
• Pajamas (Must be new– Sizes 2T to adult medium)

Cradles to Crayons will be at Lakeview Fitness on Saturday, October 19th from 10 AM – 1 PM. Please feel free to drop off any donations starting Saturday, October 12th at either Lakeview Fitness or the Sullivan Community Center.
