| Learning Spanish is as easy as uno, dos, tres! Children will dive deep into the traditions and get a taste of the culture of Spanish speaking nations across the globe as well as learn basic vocabulary words. Sing, clap, and count your way towards learning the Spanish language.

Perform in the Broadway hit musical inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley. Students enrolled get a speaking, singing, and dancing role. This musical theatre fantasy will have you jumpin’ out of your blue suede shoes, with such classics as “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Jailhouse Rock,” and “Don’t Be Cruel”.

| Travel back in time to the land of the lost. Every day students will learn to use pastels to create impressive and frame-worthy art. Artists will draw and color different types of dinosaurs in varying artistic styles ranging from realism, graphic and cartoon.

| Each day students will enjoy drawing faces, bodies and accessories in the popular art styling of anime and manga. Inspired by Japanese culture, these lessons will allow children’s creativity to demonstrate detailed and colorful characters, costumes and more.

For fashionistas, and florists, this Young Rembrandts workshop celebrates the beautiful world. Every day students will be challenged and delighted drawing images that exude loveliness. | Do you think you can build the strongest and most agile robot? Can your robot win a head to head combat mission? Learn engineering strategies for building sturdy structures using unique RoboThink bricks.

Campers will be building different types of tanks for battles, challenges, races, target practice and more! As a lead tank developer, your child will be armed with RoboThink’s unique bricks, motors, gears and mainboards and will be introduced to simple engineering concepts.

Multi-Sport programs are designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in one setting. Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship, inclusion and teamwork.

| Participants will learn the fundamentals of swinging, putting, body positioning, etiquette and keeping score. Experience the excitement of football with Skyhawks Flag Football Fueled by USA Football. Using a curriculum developed by the experts from USA Football, coaches will teach skills like passing, receiving, kicking and flag pulling. | Learn the fundamentals of fielding, catching, throwing, hitting and base running – all in a fun, positive environment. Specifically designed for beginning and intermediate players, athletes learn new baseball skills along with vital life lessons such as respect, teamwork and responsibility.

The fundamentals of body positioning, stride, proper stretching and cool-down techniques are taught. Track and field events include javelin, discus, shot put, hurdles, long jump, triple jump and various running and relay events.

| Skyhawks Volleyball teaches all aspects of the game through drills and exercises that focus on bumping, setting, spiking, hitting and serving. This program is designed for the beginning to intermediate player and includes a focus on critical life skills such as leadership and teamwork.

Your young athlete will gain the technical skills and sport knowledge required for their next step into soccer. Areas of focus are dribbling, passing, shooting and ball control. By the end of the program, your child will have learned new life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, made new friends and improved their soccer skills.

| This class teaches young athletes the essential skills to lead the crowd and support the home team! Participants learn cheers, proper hand/body movements and jumping techniques. There is no stunting, just a big focus on fun while each cheerleader learns important life skills such as teamwork and leadership. The program concludes with a final cheer performance.

Skateboarders are provided a fun, well rounded experience that is perfect for any skateboarder at any level. Asylum instructors are ISCPD/SKATZ certified and teach high quality lessons in a progressive way. Fundamentals and skateboard safety are emphasized.

| This camp will break kids into age and skill appropriate groups while working on ball handling, passing, shooting, lay-ups and defense. Each day, coaches will focus on teaching fundamental skills of the game while providing a fun and safe environment for players.

This camp will build fundamental skills in ball handling, shooting, passing, footwork and attacking the basket. Each day players will perform drills individually and in skill appropriate groups to continue to elevate their game to the next level. Competitive game situational drills will also be incorporated to improve overall game performance and knowledge.

A youth soccer camp led by Vernon Hills Soccer Club’s professional coaching staff designed for beginners and experienced players alike to take their soccer skills and knowledge of the game to the next level!
